Uninstalling Previous PDF995 Installations #

  1. Go to Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features
  2. Click on “pdf995” to highlight it, then click “Uninstall”
  3. Manually check and delete the following folders if they exist:
    • C:\pdf995
    • C:\Program Files\pdf995
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\pdf995
  4. In Devices and Printers, delete/remove the PDF995 printer if listed

Downloading PDF995 #

Option 1:

  1. From ProPay Main menu, click on Utilities => Download Pdf995 Drivers
  2. This will download and extract all required files to your \Paysoft\DRIVERS folder

Option 2:

  1. Download pdf995.zip file from www.Paysoft.com/download/pdf995.zip
  2. Right-click the zip file and select “Extract All”
  3. Copy/paste all files from the extracted PDF995 folder to your \Paysoft\DRIVERS folder

Installing PDF995 #

  1. Navigate to \Paysoft\DRIVERS folder
  2. Right-click AUTOSETUP.EXE and select “Run as Administrator”
  3. Wait 2-3 minutes for the quiet installation to finish
  4. Note: PDF995 should be installed in C:\pdf995 folder for proper functionality with ProPay

Checking Printer Installation #

  1. Go to Devices and Printers
  2. Verify that the PDF995 printer is listed
  3. If not listed, run AUTOSETUP.EXE again

Configuring PDF995 in ProPay #

  1. Open ProPay
  2. Go to Client Functions => Setup => System Setup => Printers
  3. Select pdf995 as your PDF printer

Testing PDF995 Driver #

  1. Open ProPay
  2. Go to UTILITIES => SHOW PC ENVIRONMENT
  3. Look for the line: Pdf995 OutputFolder = C:\Users{your_username}\Documents\Paysoft\PDF995\
  4. This is the default location where your PDFs will be saved

Creating a Desktop Shortcut #

  1. Copy/paste this path into Windows Explorer: C:\Users%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Paysoft\PDF995\
  2. Right-click on the OUTPUT folder
  3. Select “Send to => Desktop (create shortcut)”

Final Test #

  1. Open ProPay
  2. Print a simple report to PDF995
  3. Check the Pdf995 Output Folder to ensure the report is saved there

Troubleshooting #

If you encounter issues after following these steps:

  1. Ensure all previous PDF995 installations were completely removed
  2. Verify PDF995 is installed in C:\pdf995 folder
  3. Confirm PDF995 printer is visible in Devices and Printers
  4. Check that PDF995 is selected as the PDF printer in ProPay settings
