A2: Clients should report all manual checks to you on the next scheduled pay date. Enter these checks under “Enter Manual Checks” after entering current hours.

A3: No. DO NOT ENTER THESE CHECKS AS REGULAR PAYROLL CHECKS. Always use the “Enter Manual Checks” feature for these special cases.

Step-by-Step Guide #

  1. Go to “Enter Payroll” under the “Next Scheduled pay date”
  2. Navigate to “Paychecks”
  3. Select “Enter Manual Checks”
  4. Compute the paycheck
  5. Provide all Gross taxes and deductions to the client for hand-writing the check
  6. Click “Accept” to enter the paycheck in the register
